Jennifer C. Tsou

Jennifer C. Tsou has represented employers before state and federal courts in Hawaii, the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and National Labor Relations Board. In addition, Ms. Tsou has assisted employers in drafting a variety of employment policies, including employee handbooks and drug testing policies. As an associate with MJW since May 2007, she also brings experience in international debate to her practice.

Prior to joining MJW, Ms. Tsou completed a clerkship with the Honorable James S. Burns, Chief Judge of the Hawaii State Intermediate Court of Appeals.

As a law student, she clerked at the Honolulu Prosecutor's Office and served as a summer clerk for the Honorable Kevin S.C. Chang, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Hawaii. Ms. Tsou also worked for MJW as a student law clerk.

Ms. Tsou was an Executive Editor of Production for the Hawaii Law Review and a member of the International Environmental Moot Court Team. She competed in the International Environmental Moot Court competition for two consecutive years; her team won the Best Memorial award in 2004 and finished as an International Quarter-Finalist in 2005. She continues to be involved in International Environmental Moot Court by serving as a coach for the University of Hawaii's current team.
